For protection of E coli and salmonella, State Health Agencies recommend sprouting seeds be soaked prior to sprouting for 15 minutes in lukewarm water with household bleach at a ratio of 11/4 TBL per quart of water. (Ph. of 6-7). Then rinse. Customer assumes all responsibilities for proper sterilization.
